What is with women putting up pictures of their kids in school uniform to show their first day of kindy, grade 1 or high school and wax on lyrically how "Billy Bob, we are so proud of you. Mummy and Daddy are just thrilled". When the kid is never even going to see the post!! Even worse is the birthday wishes to kids that will never read the message. "I can't believe that 10 years ago today, Billy Sue was born. The happiest day of my life. You have brought Mummy and Daddy so much joy, and we hope that all your dreams come true Billy Sue" What the? Why do they do it? Do they actually tell their kids that or just post it on facebook???

you explode, right? Technically? What's with the new cable barriers on the roads everywhere. Couldn't they be a little further from the edge of the traffic lane? If you have to pull over to say, change a tire, you have no choice but to do it parked almost in the actual running lane. Hope you're not changing one on the right hand side.

I am heartless for evicting a person out of a home.....SHE HASN'T PAID RENT....that's why she has to go. How dare people who rent think they just can't pay.....all of us who have a mortgage pay every week, the banks don't care you have no money for food it come straight out of your bank account when your wage goes in,what is it with these people not paying their fucking rent on time. You want a roof over your head pay the fucking rent. I am so sick of fighting with people and then get told I am a heartless bitch because I evict them. A difficult one. I had a tenant a while back and a single mom. She lost her job as she had fo care for her sick child and fell behind rent. I gave her 2 month's rent free til she git back on her feet and focus in her child. She found time to get financial help and sort out support for her child. Then lookd for a job. She found one and all sorted out. She paid me rent after 2 months and then paid me an extra months rentif the 2months I told her not to pay. Sometimes we just need t give people a break, hand up rather than handout. But that is only my opinion.

Respect your compassion and generosity as I think all here would. And every case is different. But no point in pushing the boundaries of your own financial world for other people who most of the time are serial late payers who think their rights as a tenant overtake any rights that landlords have. I'm sure Litonya doesn't evict them at a drop of a hat and respect her right to act in the best interest of her own financial world. Nothing difficult about it really.

I do under stand the issues and reponsibilities that comes with being a landlord. I wil never minimize nir belittle Litonya's situation That woyld be arrogant of me to do so. I just related my experience as you would in other topics. Her experience and mine and others are all valid. So let's just chill n not make a big deal of this. New PA at work booked my Brisbane hotel for wrong dates for my business trip there next week. Trying to get the same room but my chosen hotel was fully booked and may have to camp out in a different hotel in first few days. Oh dear. Can't get mad as she is a sweetie and she tried her best. I do find it interesting that the mods havent released either Meanders or 50oz, new - anything & everything. Is it because they are fed up of the very small amount of people that used that post to continue to snipe at each other (even after warnings from the mods on the post itself) ? I am quite amazed that some of them still have posting rights. Or is it because they too are waiting for Manly to repost it himself? I have no idea. It is not possible for anyone to offend me....piss me off for jumping on me for a simple suggestion, now that is a now matter. Unlike many on here, I dont take forum stuff too personally...find it quite laughable actually. My personal sentiments for Manly's A & E post were purely that it was a place to go off topic and have a bit of fun. I am more likely these days, to vent about the minor tribulations of the forums than any of the major dramas in my day to day life. My only apologies go to the OP of this post...it would seem my simple vent back a few pages has now gone astray.

I have no issues apologizing if I am in the wrong or have offended people unintentionally. It does not hurt to accept the fact if one has hurt another person unintentionally. Part of developing ones strength of character. It happens and people can misread tge message and take it the wrong way depending on their mood at the time. Things can get twisted and as per your previous post in anotger thread, things can be blown out of proportion. A simple apology helps in the healing. Imo. This is just a forum and it is cyber land and how people cantake things to heart and too seriously is beyond me. The real hard work is tge real life challenges of work kids family friends and our community in need. to apologize is gracious because we are aware of the other people in the mix of life. To accept an apology and move on is magnanimous in my opinion. Peace to all wnd have a fun weekend. No problem. People should be able to vent, bitch, complain and moan (on this thread anyway), as long as it is not personal. And maybe get some support or at least feel better at the end of the day. Got pissed off today (happens too much really) driving to work (I have 30 minute drive around 40km and generally 100km/hr most of the way), when drivers (male & female) drive at 80-95km/hr, then suddenly speed up to 110km/hr when a passing lane comes up, and you have to risk a ticket to pass them, Grrrr. Also bloody caravans, why do they all have to leave between 7:30 & 9:0am during rush hour traffic, they are holiday, they have all day to get there.
