Well peoples, another thread in the similar vain to it's predecessors, anything and everything x 4. Where you can chat and chew the fat on anything you desire. Impossible to go off topic. Over to you all in the RHP sandpit. Play nice and no throwing sand And be careful, the cat may have buried a turd in the pit overnight......

the anti venoms are great as long as your quick enough ,great you know what happened many dont ,and it's not until they foam at the mouth when owners normally know something is up and race for the vet ,good luck , ps we went to the nude beach yesterday ,for some stress relief in the warmth ,but as we got closer ,down went the temp ,screw it we were there and we were going to eat our strawberrys and drink our bubbly naked, if it killed us ,damn melbourne and the sudden change in the weather and freaking howling wind that sandblasted us like there was no tomorrow ,apparently if there is a god, he thought my shins needed some exfoliating ,lol, aghhhhh life's an adventure ,lol,,then we went to see IT the movie 🎥,,mrs b had a cardio workout and a half ,walked out worn out and sore from sitting so stiff and on edge for the whole movie ,jumping so hard people could feel the seats bouncing backwards 5 seats down and laughing their asses off ,'twas a good day ,lmao - Posted from rhpmobile

Mrs Luv took the two dogs for a walk They went off chasing rabbits in the long grass, one came out a few minutes later dragging her back legs She made it down to the creek and basically collapsed in the water Mrs Luv and son picked her up and ran to the car From being bitten to the vets in total was about half hour which is very quick for us living in the bush . She responded well to the anti venom but the vet said she could still go downhill later in the day. They kept her overnight and we picked her up today . The way she ran to the car you wouldn't know anything had happened to her at all so all well( minus a fair chunk of upcoming Queensland holiday spending money) Thank you for your concern guys Mr Luvsilver

Yes, buying a Harley is what the men seem to do in at these times, Betty. But I'm not sure you'd be a Harley owner. A Harley buyer wants practical comfort and lots of sparkle and noise...over excitement and thrills. And is typically "older" than other brands. Call me when your ready and we'll go shopping..

Tried to contact admin and it wouldn't let me send the message 👎wondering if there's a troublemaker amongst us, but our topics weren't associated. Not happy here anyway A simple message to say why would be good etiquette, exactly what they preach to us on here 😏 Do they automatically end a topic if it's reported by someone, even if there's no problem with it? Come on rhp, get your shit together and look after the genuine ones. My comments have also been heavily censored, leaving me confused with most, why on earth they were removed and why they deemed them against policy? 👎

Is that they still show on the forum topics. Upon selection, the topic is not found. Tease. Can't understand benign or inoffensive topics being closed or deleted. Maybe some new forum guidelines we are not aware of? I would have been interested on the kids topic. I just saw it the other day. Didn't have a proper read of the OP and when I.had a bit of time, just gone! 😒 What gives?

  • RHP

    RHP User

It would be a good informative topic. I can only assume the subject matter was against the guidelines and hence they closed it before any negative press. I can understand that viewpoint as a commercial decision, even though I would have liked to gain from the experiences of others here. But if some idiot posted something entirely inappropriate there... well maybe preventative measures were fair enough in this case?

I'm really happy we were allowed to discuss the missing topics. The confusion it had caused, can have a flow on effect of us blaming each other, good that we've had the opportunity to share our confusion. Agree with all of the above and I had been on here quite a bit, on and off, and saw nothing that would give them cause to end the topics. Some comfort to know it wasn't just mine but sadly, we lost some good topics. Anyway done now, moving on

Just a tip. If you log on to the mobile app, forget to select desktop when you log in, and find yourself in the mobile app, use the back arrow to take you back to the log on page or a few times if need be 👍 I also think it's a nightmare, only ever use the classic site. I've found all websites are getting very pushy trying to get people to use the mobile app. Mr_Playful my theory is similar to yours but much more sinister lol sites like Ebay use it as a tactic to trap people into sales. I'm registered as a seller and buyer but can no longer access my seller page, which I'm not using much right now but wanted to check it out, on the classic site. When I specify classic site and seller page, it takes me to my watch list. To be clear, it takes me to my watch list on the classic site. That never happened a few weeks ago, but it gets worse. When I then use the dropdown at the top of the page to select seller page, it takes me back to my watch list on the mobile app??? 😠 Small keypads and bad eyes, glare outside, coupled with an app that is a pain in the ass to use, not to mention glitches, that site is notorious for Friday glitches lol people would be routinely making mistakes that they wouldn't normally be. And then once they get you there, they have you where they want you. Carefully calculated, it's not by accident. Although I have found ways to get around their restrictions, for a time I couldn't find any way to end a listing, quick google told me I wasn't the only one. And the log off being well hidden here, pain in the ass that they're resorting to that. I'm over constantly trying to bring up classic sites, most continually revert back. It's all time we don't get back, sucked out of our day 👎

When I was a kid we were in the Flinders Ranges camping and bush walking, my old man wanted to stay as long as possible which meant Flinders Ranges to Melbourne in one day. We left in the dark and got home in the dark, I have no idea how long that took but from memory it was 1000 miles, solo. In a Singer Gazelle wagon (think Hillman) top speed 85mph. The next day he rode his bicycle to work. Legend.

I fact checked myself, it's about 1200k and the Singer could only do 80mph but we had 3 people and stacked with gear. I remember us trying to pass an old Holden along the Coorong, about FB or FC I think, we could slipstream it and gain but couldn't pass, it was pretty funny as the old man had about 3 goes. Occupants of both cars were having a laugh over it.

It would be a bit worse now, but if you don't mind very high to sometimes extreme humidity then you'd probably be ok. The weather and hence the surrounding environment is pretty different between the two cities.
