I've tried and tried to reply, with a train of thought that gets lost as I try to type it out. . It is my opinion. . It's an ongoing opinion that has lasted longer than ongoing circumstances. . But heck Chev has started another topic and the fun has already begun... despite the promising beginning!!!

I am trying to really understand as I am not one to consciously condone cyber bullying or bullying in any other form. I hate that. I know how devastating it can be as I have known of a young girl (sister of my son's friend) throw herself in the path of an approaching train as she suffered from depression caused by cyber bullying in FB. I normally will limit my comment to the behaviour or question their take on the accounts if it seems too far from the truth as I see it. Some people will see that as a personal attack and some respond with personal attacks and namecalling. Pfft. I checked Chev's current topic on 'Bondage and Spanking' as per your reference Is this what you were referring to? I read all the comments/posting today, including yours. (all 14 of them at this point in time). So far, they were all lighthearted banter and comments. Some were just factual accounts of their experiences. The cheekiest commetn was from Sir stir (surprise? NOT lol) and good on Chev, he gave some cheek back. But all seem light-hearted. I am now confused on what you perceive as cyber bullying in this scenario. Maybe I am not seeing it so I may have missed something. Can you help me to understand? Thank you.

My comments to Chev re his behaviour towards the young women in his life and this is based on his posts and comments ...I am puzzled as to why Mrs P you are so supportive of Chev and his behaviour but that is your prerogative as is mine to disagree..I will no longer make comment on any of Chev's threads or posts and don't wish to engage in any dialogue re my position.

I do get it that Chev is a 'unique character' in RHP that both fascinates and/or repulses some people on the forum. He just reminds me of that awkward old uncle that would show up at a family function with his two new young girlfriends hanging off either side of his arms, drink copious amounts of spirits and slap/pinch their assess in front of the kids and Grandma. Awkward, uncomfortable yet fascinating. Putting things in perspective, this rise of this 'unique personal' did not happen overnight. His PR manager has a lot to answer for, if he had one. Over my my 18 months here, I have read his highly fantastical stories that would make Tolkien weep in envy. he has left himself open to ridicule by strutting his stuff at every opportunity. . His constant Quixotic bragging of his sexual prowess and sometimes, his misogynistic approach to women has obviously starting to wear thin the welcome mat of many a people in RHP. People just react to his posts the way I see it. So what is one to do? As I said in my post in his Sexpo thread, I choose to ignore the Chev parade moving forward so as to keep my sanity intact and eliminate incessant eye-rolling. My choice to take on this approach will certainly work for me. After all, it makes him and his subs happy in their Chev bubble and it is not harming anyone, then it should be business as usual. But I can't say that for anyone else. we all just react differently for each situation. Some react more strongly than the others. But I get you. and I see your point of view. Can you see the other's point of view? Thanks.

I do see some of other's points of view, I just don't necessarily agree with them or where they're coming from. :-) . I get that we're coming from different places and I do have a very high sensitivity. . But if people can comment on their points of view, it stands to reason I can comment on mine. Mine just aren't popular . You can come out of the corner any time you like Annie, I still love you. :-P . Freya, I support your position, thanks for putting it forward, I apppreciate it. . It's okay Willow, I too am one of the characters of the place, and I know full well I'm not going to get everyone to agree with with me. Its not that ppl arent listening to your point of view.I just find that you will continually repeat your opinion over, and over,and over... It makes me think that you want agreement from everyone else to your way of looking at things. I will ackowledge that not everyone will see things as I do. (Thank god for that!! ) but it wont make me judge them any better or any worse than me. Just beautifully different and unique

You get some mental downtime this weekend to let your brain recuperate before you study for your last exam. Studying's like exercise - gotta give yourself a rest day between training so you don't overstress. You don't want to pull your cerebral cortex right before your last test.

Yuck, I get friend requests often but unless I know the person or have conversed at length I will never add just anyone. I just got a friend request from a profile and the username was absolutely revolting and totally derogatory to any female, of course the profile is locked! I feel your pain! My diabetic pup (well, he's 11) not only completely soaked two puppy pads during the night, there was so much wee around them I had to use two full rolls of kitchen towels to clean it all up. I think he needs to go up on his insulin again.

I have to take my boy to the vet to have a lump checked out. Really hoping it's not another tumour. He's nearly 11 and even though he's doing very well for his age I'm reluctant to put him through more surgery, and the one time we tried chemo he reacted very badly to it. Hope your pups are now feeling better Siren and Meander x

When I was studying ... at uni level ... one of the tutors had said that "marketing" subjects can encounter the use of making a "dating" profile to find out if they have good skills at being able to (cough) communicate and entice through text ... maybe some of these fake profiles are actually people doing these kinds of marketing subjects? Food for thought ... (p.s. my units had nothing to do with marketing.... )
