Are those unruly people having a punch up with the staff, or with other customers ? If there are any 'disputes' happening anywhere in or near your work, the security guards should be getting involved, and if necessary, management should be getting the police involved. If nobody is doing anything about it, then you might have to complain to the police yourself to ensure your safety in and around work. Tall

I've started paying attention to the views I get on my profile after the thread on the topic a few weeks ago. Here's the weird thing.... I'd say probably 70% of the views are from profiles in the Eastern States, mostly NSW and VIC. Why on earth am I even appearing on their radar? If it were the odd one or two, I'd figure it was forum readers checking me out when I post something, but sometimes when I log on, every single profile view is from someone interstate. What up with that? Is it a fault in the location services on the site?

...they're probably just looking. I do that without hiding my identity at times. Probably from people noticing your presence on the forums...which i think i get too a little bit. Either that or a lot of people just randomly check out interstaters. There's a certain comfort I find in chatting online to someone on the other side. I have noted over the last couple of days the service on site has been quite slow, even to the extent that I couldn't even log in at one stage. The 'error' message was also flashed up when trying to go between pages. I suggest that RHP system may have experienced overload at times, or else possibly a breakdown in their server system which is slowing things down, including uploads. Might pay to contact 'customer service' to find out if there are any difficulties, or if things are back to normal now. Tall

It's such a terrible description and people have vastly differing opinions on what constitutes a little and a lot or what even average is. I guess it's the same with athletic cause there are many different forms being lean, muscular or fit. Ultimately better to see for yourself in person.

I clarified with the kids when a pic I moved from private to public was classified as 'too hot'. After several emails where I was sent the standard regulations, which I could read on the photo upload page, I finally pushed hard enough that I got an answer... 'Too hot' as I understand it, only impacts those who are guests signing in on the app, and only pics in your public gallery... if guests sign in on the desktop site, or through their internet browser, they will still see your pic - it's totally different to the 'restricted' pics guests can't see. The reason I was given by the mods, is that Apple made it a condition of the app, because under 18's can download, join and perve on any public pics. So basically it only stops guests, who log in through the app, from seeing that particular photo. I think 😂😂

Had to make a call to 000 about the neighbours across the road. They are separated but he comes and picks the kids up every day and drops them off. There's often yelling and slamming of car doors by both parties, and sometimes fighting inside the house. But this time it was epic. Luckily the kids are at school. When my x husband finally moved out he would come to the house and break in and ransack it when I was at work or come in the middle of the night and start yelling and banging in walls etc... I went and told my neighbors and asked the to keep an eye out and if it was ok if I sent kids over unexpectedly if he showed an things got out of hand. They were great neighbors and I will never forget all that they did for me.

Sorry to hear that you went through such a horrible experience, but so thankful you had your neighbours. I was in a DV relationship for 5 years before I met hubby. They say just leave - I wasn't married and didn't have children with him and it took my husband rescuing me to be able to do it. I've spent 12 months helping my cousin who has MS leave a DV relationship. And the last 18 months helping my step sister try and re-build her life after one with two small children. Constant DVO breaches, thousands of pages of documents and hundreds of hours of research. Court cases, baby sitting, counselling, being an appointed supervisor and report writer for visitation with the children, and being a safe house. It took a massive toll on my health but nothing would make me have done otherwise. Sadly the police took three hours to get here. It infuriates me! It's not their fault and DV cases are treated as priority, they just don't have enough police. So many people's lives are affected by domestic violence. The only thing we can do is report and if we have the capacity - help out.

You can see more on the front of magazines or on the beach than people using the Apple app. Don't have to even sign in to see more than people who are using the Apple app. I changed and signed out to have a look at my pics one by one yesterday to see if I could see them as profile pics and every one was available without signing in I'm happy to say. A month ago, I vented about my cousin's poor old cat living here on the farm. Shortly after I'd made those posts, I received a call from my aunt in Melbourne specifically asking that I not do anything about the cat. There was to be a large get-together to celebrate her mother's (my landlady's) 80th birthday here the last weekend of October. She said they would handle the matter that weekend. At the conclusion of that discussion, it was decided Granny would rent a cat carrier a week in advance and place the cat's food in the open carrier for the week in order the cat would get accustomed to entering it, and they could easily close the door at the appropriate time. Well, the carrier was procured and birthday event went very well, but no-one actually took the extra step of taking the cat to the vet... Last weekend, Granny's son happened to be visiting his mum, and the cat had stopped by my unit to say hello and have a pat. The cat's nose wound was open and bleeding, it's chest and fore legs were matted with blood. Upon more careful reflection, the wound first appeared like a scratch six months ago (not three). Anyway, I was able to go and get the carrier and gently place the cat in there. It was really quite easy. The cat was clearly worried (it's pupils were open wide), but did not struggle, and it responded well to soothing words and a neck scratch through the bars of the carrier. I then took the cat/carrier and spoke to Granny's son about delivering the cat to the vet as had been discussed previously. It was all good until the cat saw Granny approach... The cat went absolutely frantic! She started bashing herself all about the carrier and reaching out and clawing at and through the bars in an effort to escape. After discussion between themselves, Granny and her son decided Granny would take the cat to the vet herself and left shortly afterward. The upshot of all of this is the cat is no longer with us, and my rent goes up $30 per week from next month...

It's so hot and humid here already and it's not even officially summer...I dread to think what it's going to be like in another month or so. I hate this humidity...just drains me of all my energy and makes me feel so lethargic. Cannot wait until I can move away from the tropics.

...i read an article online last night, by a female muslim American, explaining why she voted for Trump. From what i remember, she wasn't bothered by bigoted comments dug up from his past, what concerned her was that President Obama's 2 terms had not improved her lot in life...hadn't lessened the struggle. A single mother, ObamaCare was too expensive for her...and she feared the dictatorships of Saudi Arabia and Qatar that America supports and is supported by. She wanted change, in the hope that it would bring improvement.

...I dont remember her article mentioning planned policies that she was counting on to improve things for her, but she was disillusioned with Obama's health care, and thought that Clinton's would be a continuation of his. It sounded like a hope that any change could possibly make things better. And that Hillary wasn't offering enough of that.

Just said 'I'm going to do this!' with absolutely no detail as to how he would do it. He's already backtracking / softening on some of the key things he said he was going to deal with e.g. Obamacare, putting Hilary in jail, the famous wall. Some are of the opinion that he's so out of his depth that he's just going to end up being a figurehead while the extreme right Republicans around him - such as Mike Pence, future vice president - pull the real strings in the background. Some think that the fact that Trump was Democrat-leaning for most of his career means he just said what he knew would get him elected and will now backflip on a lot of it. Remains to be seen.
