When the original post is a copy and paste, but people miss the obvious... like the one posted by a female recently where the write up stated quite clearly it was a man writing but people were praising the OP for the piece of writing. Which means they obviously haven't read that praiseworthy piece of work thoroughly enough.

I don't like it when people appear to deliberately plagiarise other people's work when posting threads and I include ascii art in that. If it's obvious they couldn't be the author, I have to realise it was a mistake by them though. . I HAVE posted work without acknowledging the author more than once but totally by accident, and I know I was mortified when people started praising me. So, hopefully people understand mistakes do happen.

If I can't remember who said what ,I google..if I still can't find the source,I just say..I can't remember who said this...or where I read this ...but usually I can find the source and that in itself can be quite interesting..there are so many common phrases that we use that have survived for centuries..xxFreya

My vent is cheaters, lying stinking filthy cheaters! I don't care if you want to cheat but don't drag me into your sordid little lie. I found out a person I have been romantically linked to for most of my life has been a lying stinking cheater for years, how dare he knowingly lie to my face, tell me how in love with me he is that he wants me and only me. Then j discover there is not one but numerous other women. Well didn't he pick the wrong person to fuck with!!! I outed him big time, was nice to see him go down. And no I'm not a vindictive bitch by any means but if you are going to do that shit then you suffer the consequences of your actions! I politely said no to someone the other day. He replied with an apology - he didn't mean to contact me as he didn't realise I was a size 22, and that was far too big for him. Gave me a chuckle!! I went to write a nice reply back along the lines of "that's fine, we are all attracted to different things" but he had blocked me! Hate when that happens!

Yes must be the weekend for the bitchy replies from guys. I dont recieve many messages from single guys now as I state that Im not looking for single guys. Plus I dont come up in searches for women looking for men. So i get a message from a 30 yr old saying he thinks we would have a lot in common, lets meet for a drink etc etc. So I replied" seeing My profile states Im not looking for men, what do you think we have in common?" His reply was the classic put down of..." Well youre actually too old for me, but my flatmate saw your profile, he needs sex so I thought I would take one for the team and give you a 3way even though you arent my type and too old"...And this is why Ive now decided to not reply anymore if im not interested. Ladies if you took on board all the negative put downs that these immature guys who dont even know us give us when we say no, it would do your self esteme in. Ive had enough of them to just laugh it off and block them.

Thought I would watch a movie on TV last night, started out ok and got me hooked, then after that it appeared there was more advertising than movie, and the movie took 3x longer to finish than it should have. I swear it started around 9:30pm but by the time it had finished it was 1:am, way past my bedtime, then couldn't get to sleep for another hour due to the violence (needed someone to take my mind of it). Geeez I hate it when time wise, there is actually more advert time in a movie than movie time WTF (gunna need to get pay TV). Second vent for the night is I just found the mains water pipe is leaking, for god knows how long, pipe is under a long concrete path, major expense to locate and repair, bummer

I concur whole heartedly re the damm adds!!!! And then to add insult to injury, someone goose decides to run an add for a new sort of TV which has much better colour and sound than the one I have, during which they cleverly demonstrate said colour and sound to me regardless of the fact that the demonstration is utterly pointless as I can't get any idea of their better colour and sound on my existing TV and if I DID then I wouldn't need to buy THEIR bloody newfangled TV anyway!!! WTF!!!!!!

sorry if you saw it that way. Not intended. I was just to say we should try to exercise some restraint when we dont see the whole picture. as in my business, i try no to action anything too soon until I have properly informed myself with the situation. All I am saying is that they may have been busy with real life issues, etc. and hence unable to get back to their thread straight away. It happens to me all the time. May take me days to respond, hell, even over a week if I remember the thread at all. (not mine of course) I get distracted by my work and kids and real life issues. I have been trying to get myself into a point in the forum where I would wait til I see a better picture before I make commetns that may hurt the OP or the post. Am trying to temper myself to not unnecessarily get myself in hot water as the stress is nto worth it. A little bit of kindness goes a fair way. Mea, I do get you. Personally, I would nto delve into plagiarism and would give credit where credit is due. Cheers. have a great day. xxx

I've already stated more than once that it's obvious the woman I'm thinking of didn't write the piece of work she shared, so no fuss there for me. I find it hilarious that people can praise a piece of work posted by a woman that's written by a man and they don't realise it! . I was working on understanding... by asking questions. . Which could have been easily been answered by Meander posting exactly as she has now done, instead of allowing the confusion to continue... Thanks to whoever had my earlier post including symbols deleted. I actually posted it to relieve some frustration, but that was a waste of time. I hope you feel good about yourself. I can see how it must have been terribly offensive. . So, similar to what I said in between the symbols, and it seems all the more relevent now. I just don't get people sometimes.

I contacted Customer Help and was advised that they use symbols in their programming and my post was problematical, so they removed it. I've now explained that I would have liked to have been advised... because I really didn't get it.

Fax are all black Probably worth buying 3 of the discounted printers, toss them, this one here has been out of colour for ages, I was having trouble printing anything with logos or colour somewhere or another, our son showed us we had to go into the settings and set it for all images black, it worked. Unless it's a kinky thing or something.

Had a neighbour call over yesterday afternoon to say hi, got talking and had a few beers. Thought I was going to run out of cold stuff so through half a dozen in the freezer just in case. Did not end up running out of the original cold beer so forgot about it until this morning when I found frozen beer spewed out inside the freezer. Funny fuckers. They send a flirt or a message. You have a spare message so i send them a nice template jobby. The thing sits in their inbox for days, weeks or a month. They send a reply at some stage and you reciprocate with maybe some interest or at least not total negativity. They appreciated a reply, even sxcited. Then your reply sits in their inbox for days, weeks or a month. For fuck sake. God help those who help themselves. The rest, go and get fucked.......

I didn't know that either, lol. Here I was thinking half the male population were halfwits and it is me that is the halfwit, haha. Maybe RHP should have a flirt that just says 'I think you are hot' without the 'what do you think of me part'! They need an overhaul of the flirts, some are impossible to reply nicely to, a simple 'thank you' would be nice without the 'flattery will get you everywhere' bit. I also like the 'Sorry, you are not what I am looking for' but it is only a message not a flirt and as a guest you can't use it unless replying to a message.

Yeah ... there are two flirts like those JG - "I think you're hot, what do you think of me?" comes from the Hot or What under pics, and "Damn! You sure are hot. What do you think of me?" is when they flirt direct from your profile. I agree the flirt set up is really annoying. No wonder so few people reply to them. My least favourite is when a guest profile, flirts with a guest profile with "You're exactly what I'm looking for. Please send me a message, I'm keen" I think senders of those fail the basic intelligence test. When all else fails, I often don't reply or when I want to reply (not with the standard replies) I go their profile and send a flirt saying "I've noticed you notice me and now I've noticed you too." And yes, 50 I could buy a new printer (not sure about fax - are they still in circulation?) but I already have a great printer (most of the time). It was just a vent. Thanks though.
